2012年毕业于美国乔治梅森大学，获传播学方向哲学博士学位。2008-2011年期间连续三年半获得该校全额奖学金，2012年获得该校优秀博士论文基金。2006年毕业于美国韦恩州立大学，获传播学硕士学位。2006-2008年期间连续两年获得 Graduate-Professional Scholarships（奖学金）。 2003-2005年任职于北京电视台一套，担任记者、编辑。2003年获得吉林大学新闻学学士学位。
