李彰言是厦门大学新闻传播学院广告学系助理教授，博士毕业于浙江大学，硕士毕业于悉尼大学，本科毕业于普渡大学。他的研究主要关注计算方法驱动的传播策略和效果研究，例如以大数据计算、计算仿真方法验证研究对象的传播过程和效果。除此之外他也关注国际传播、健康传播等领域的理论发展，尝试将计算方法与理论创新进行结合。他的研究在国内外传播学、医学期刊中发表，在ICA，IAMCR等国际会议上汇报。除此之外，李彰言常年在中美友城辩论赛、云游辩论赛、亚洲杯等多项国际赛事中担任评委，也是人民大学附属中学辩论队教练组成员和多本文学杂志的专栏作者，参与过辩论教材与辩论专栏内容的写作并被《青年文摘》转载。
